How we choose to react to something, how we choose to execute a plan, how we interact with those around us - all of this depends on the lenses through which we view whatever it may be.
A minor inconvenience for one person may be a catastrophic disaster for another.
A certain act of kindness may seem commonplace to one individual, yet positively affect another to a drastic degree.
It all depends on how they choose to view it.
While "choosing" may be a conscious action, the "decisions" we make subconsciously are almost always influenced by the habits developed during conscious activity.
Therefore, consciously choosing to do something good can later lead to said action becoming second nature.
In regards to reframing, if we choose to take a pause and consider how we view a situation, we can give ourselves the chance to see the opportunities in that situation, to see some good or some benefit in it.
Even the worst of days could be considered an opportunity to exercise certain stress-management techniques we may know, should we choose to view the situation that way.
If we choose to find the negative in everything, we will never fail in doing so. However, we will also find ourselves always angry and likely blaming others for everything we can think of.
Let us then choose instead to look for opportunities to grow and develop. The obstacles will still be there. But there's a difference.
We see the obstacles, but we look for the opportunities.
