The Development of Traits

The Development of Traits

Most worthwhile traits are developed. Even those with an inclination towards something are rarely, if ever, automatically at the top.

Endurance is developed by sticking to something through obstacles and setbacks.

Resilience is developed by returning to a baseline level and then pushing forward.

Strength is developed by conducting the repetitions necessary to eliminate weakness.

Wisdom is developed by objectively analyzing situations and applying the relevant lessons learned.

All of these take awareness and intention.

Awareness frames the space, intention frames the action.

No one ever becomes their best self accidentally and with no direction. No one was ever born automatically at peak.

Decisions were made and actions were taken. Repeatedly.
