The Influence of Perspective

The Influence of Perspective

Two people can live through the same situation and walk away with entirely different lives.

The facts don’t change, but the lenses do.

Viewed one way, an obstacle is proof you should have stayed where it was safe. Viewed a different way, it is simply the next required step between who you are and who you intend to become. The same event can either confirm the excuses or confirm your potential.

Perspective doesn’t really erase reality. Rather, it chooses which part of reality gets your focus and effort.

If you are going to spend the energy either way, it’s worth asking: Which lens actually moves me forward?
